This course introduces students to the fundamentals of embedded system design and implementation, including specifications and modeling of embedded systems, the types of hardware that can support such systems, the embedded system hardware components such as processor, bus hierarchy, controller, serial communications, embedded software design tools and technologies. Students are expected to design and program an embedded system for various real-world applications.
