The aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge and skills required to develop Web sites for a business or other use. The students will learn the basics of the Internet, and the WWW (World Wide Web), and understand the architecture of a client/server model. They will get hands-on experience on how to create websites using HTML5, how to improve them using CSS3 (Cascading Style Sheets), how to make them interactive using a scripting language (JavaScript), and how to give them a dynamic character by using the client/server model through PHP. Team collaboration will be an essential part of the course as well as the implementation of a real website.
