BUAC4304-2023S1 Accounting Theory
This course is designed to provide you with deep knowledge for developing an accounting thought, a sound understanding of the fundamentals and principles as a necessary background for applying financial disclosure concepts to current financial issues in the market economy. This course is intended to gain understanding of global accounting system as a whole, to improve your skills of the use of financial accounting information and disclosure under IFRS. You will be introduced to the advanced theoretical knowledge of development of international accounting practices; provided with knowledge on approaches to formulation of accounting theory and its structure; accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS); familiarized with knowledge for developing sufficient skills on financial disclosures, and you will learn how to analyze and disclose financial information for making effective managerial decisions.
