This course introduces the concepts and fundamentals of web-based Information Systems (WIS). The course covers the process of developing a web based information system, including object modelling, user-interface design, database design and programming. The topics in this course include: HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, client-server database applications on the internet, and XML, Latest and advanced technologies for developing WIS: Web Service and current trends in WIS.
