The aim of this course is to provide students with the basic English needed to study and to communicate in daily life by developing their reading, writing, speaking and grammar skills. The course also enables students to comprehend vocabulary building principles through practice; apply reading strategies of skimming, scanning and acquiring meaning from context and  develop writing skills at the sentence and paragraph levels.
