The course provides an introduction to the essential components of management and the study of management. It emphasizes the practical and intellectual dimensions of management alongside the introduction of key concepts such as leadership and business ethics. In addition, it provides the basis for the study of management through different modes of academic business communication: argumentation via essay writing, report writing, presentations, etc.
